Wally Klett style floristry comes to Burnham Market

Yay, first week of course now finally under my belt and we all passed with flying colours!  The April session was cancelled due to the adverse weather conditions, who would of thought a volcano could cause so many problems!

8 Wally Klett Wannabes came together for the first week of Wally’s Master Class in Wedding Floristry and WOW what a week!  Intense knowledge and a totally different style of floristry to that of florists in the UK.

We had an amazing week weather wise, which, as we were decorating the inside and outside of a beautiful church, was most welcomed.  Maybe not quite so hot next time, which might help to contain the stress levels of working with flowers under exam conditions!  The week ended with an evening of music and flowers, to which the local people of Wilmslow and the surrounding area were invited.  It was lovely to sit back and admire our creations!

My camera was in hand at the ready, so will add some (amateur) photographs of the finished work at a later date!  Meanwhile, I look forward to my next visit at the end of September, working with Wally and the girls again and learning to create yet more stunning designs

Joules Clothing – Spring/Summer Launch

We were very intrigued when asked to arrange flowers in wellies (yes wellies), for the launch of the Joules Clothing Spring/Summer Collection, in Burnham Market on the evening of Thursday 28th January.  Wasn’t sure at first if we were going to be standing in the wellies or placing flowers in them (glad it was the second option).  As you will see from the photographs below, they look fantastic and they inspire you to make use of those wellies not being used during the warmer months or old out of date ones.  Perfect for a Garden Party, WI Meeting or as a present for a keen gardener.  Come on dig out those wellies and celebrate them in style!
